Class Schedule
Classes run Monday through Wednesday
Monday: Acting & Creative Play
Tuesday: Musical Theatre & Performance
Wednesday: Music & Rhythm
Each class meets weekly and is designed to grow with your student over time.
Ages 5–7 | Creative Exploration

Monday | 3:30–4:30 PM
A hands-on creative class where young children explore imagination through movement, music, storytelling, and guided play. Students build confidence, communication, and social skills in a supportive environment.
Semester concludes with a small showcase.

Tuesday | 3:30-4:30 PM
An introduction to musical theatre through song, movement, and storytelling. Students learn simple songs, movement patterns, and performance basics while building confidence and coordination.
Semester concludes with a small showcase.

Wednesday | 3:30–4:30 PM
A playful introduction to music through rhythm, movement, body percussion, and hands-on instrument exploration. Students learn to listen, move, and create together.

Ages 8–11
Building Confidence & Expression

Monday | 4:45–5:45 PM
An energetic acting class using games, improvisation, and scene work to develop character, expression, focus, and ensemble skills.
Semester concludes with a showcase.

Tuesday | 4:45–5:45 PM
A triple threat/musical theatre class combining singing, dancing, and acting. Students build vocal technique, choreography skills, and ensemble confidence, with opportunities for solo work.
Semester concludes with a performance showcase.

Wednesday | 4:45–5:45 PM
A group-based music class focused on rhythm, melody, basic music theory, and ensemble playing. Students explore instruments and develop musical confidence.

Ages 12–17 | Creative Growth & Performance

A collaborative acting class where teens explore improvisation, scene study, character development, and mock auditions in a supportive environment.Semester concludes with a showcase.

A performance-driven triple threat/musical theatre class focused on acting through song, movement, and stage presence.

About the Founder
Angeline Fontaine
Founder & Studio Director
Angeline Fontaine is the Founder and Director of The Studio at Amie. An artist, educator, and creative director, she brings an artist-led approach rooted in real-world performance, collaboration, and creative growth to everything the academy offers.
At the heart of the Studio’s vision, Angeline serves as both curator and architect of its creative direction. The space was intentionally designed to feel like a working artistic studio, where students are treated as developing artists and encouraged to take ownership of their craft. Every program is thoughtfully structured to balance rigorous training with creativity, curiosity, and play.
With a background spanning music, theater, film, and voiceover, Angeline’s teaching is shaped by years of learning inside studios, on stages, and within professional productions. She is deeply committed to building confident, expressive, and disciplined artists who understand both the craft and the collaboration behind performance.
At its core, Angeline’s work is about building a creative community. Through The Studio at Amie, she has created a space where young performers feel seen, challenged, and supported, a place where artistry and confidence grow side by side.

Alexandre “Alex” Grand Pierre
Studio Coordinator
Alexandre “Alex” Grand Pierre is the Studio Coordinator at The Studio at Amie and one of the friendly faces you’ll see when you walk through the doors. An active member of local choir and arts groups, Alex brings both warmth and a genuine appreciation for the performing arts into the studio every day.
He supports daily studio operations, student check-ins, scheduling, and family communication, helping create a space that feels organized, welcoming, and calm. Alex works closely with instructors and families to ensure students feel safe, supported, and ready to focus on learning and creativity.
With his strong attention to detail and positive, steady presence, Alex plays an important role in making The Studio at Amie a place where students and families feel comfortable, cared for, and excited to be.

Acting
Our Acting Instructor is a professional teaching artist with experience in stage, screen, and performance-based storytelling. They bring a thoughtful, student-centered approach to helping young performers explore character, emotion, and presence.
Through scene work, improvisation, and ensemble exercises, students learn how to connect authentically to their material while building confidence and collaboration skills. The focus is not only on memorization or performance, but on understanding story, intention, and how to listen and respond as an actor.
In the classroom, our Acting Instructor creates a supportive and engaging environment where students are encouraged to take creative risks, express themselves, and grow into their own unique voice.

Our Triple-Threat Instructor guides students through the foundations of voice, acting, and movement, helping them grow into confident, well-rounded performers. With experience across musical theatre and live performance, they bring an engaging, real-world perspective to the classroom.
Classes focus on building strong technique while also encouraging expression, storytelling, and collaboration. Students learn how to connect their voice, body, and emotions so that every performance feels honest and grounded.
In a supportive and energetic environment, the Triple-Threat Instructor encourages students to explore their creativity, take risks, and discover their own artistic voice.

Nick Chin
Music and Saxophone
Nick Chin is a saxophonist and teaching artist whose work centers on performance, musicianship, and musical storytelling. With years of experience in live performance, he brings a deep understanding of how music comes to life onstage and in ensemble settings.He teaches saxophone and music theory using creative, engaging approaches that help students truly connect with what they’re learning. His focus is on building strong fundamentals while also encouraging expression, listening, and confidence.In the classroom, Nick creates an encouraging and focused environment where students feel supported as they grow into their own musical voice.At The Studio at Amie, Nick helps shape performers who are disciplined, creative, and deeply connected to the music they make.
